Our Story

Welcome!  We are Mike and Rebecca Webert, owners of the Store at Locust Hill.  We have a passion for raising quality cattle, and providing delicious beef to our friends and neighbors.

Locust Hill Farm was owned for many years by Mike's grandmother, the late Maggie Bryant.  Mike was the farm manager for his grandmother for more than a decade, during which time he developed a quality herd of Angus, Hereford and commercial cattle and added sweet corn and sunflowers to the farm's other crops.

We began selling beef halves and wholes several years ago, but heard many times that lots of people simply don't have the space for that much beef at a time...so the Store at Locust Hill was born.  While we hope you'll come for the beef (and our boys', Will and Ben, eggs), we are excited to be able to offer many other local products as well.  We hope you'll come visit us to see for yourself!
